Pact31 Support & Privacy Policy

Section 1: SupportPact31 SupportNeed help with Pact31? We're here for you.Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do I submit a daily check-in?
Open your pact, tap "Submit," and record or upload a workout video or photo as proof. Add any notes and confirm.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot Password" and follow the email instructions sent to your registered address.
How do daily reminders work?
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device once you opt in — we don't use push notifications. You can turn them off anytime in Settings.
What happens to my videos and photos?
They're visible to your pact members and stored securely via Firebase (Google Cloud). At the start of each month, the previous month's proof media and group chat messages are automatically deleted to save space — your streaks, completion history, and challenge records are kept.
What happens if my pact goes inactive?
A pact with no check-ins or messages for 31 days gets an in-app warning. If it stays inactive for 7 more days, the pact and all its content (videos, photos, chats) are permanently deleted.
Does Pact31 handle money pot payments?
No. Pact31 does not process payments. Money pot amounts and payment handles (like Venmo or Apple Cash) are shown for participants to settle manually between themselves — we never transmit or process real transactions.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, submissions, and all associated data.

What We Collect
• Email address — used to create and recover your account.
• Username & password — for authentication. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
• Workout videos and photos — uploaded by you as proof of daily check-ins. Stored securely in Firebase Storage.
• Fitness activity — rep counts, streaks, completion history, and notes you add to submissions.
• Profile content — your bio and profile photo, if you choose to add them.
• Group & challenge data — pact memberships, challenge results, and chat messages you send.
How We Use It
• To operate the app — authentication, group features, leaderboards, and challenges.
• To send daily reminders you've opted into (scheduled locally on your device; we don't use push notifications).
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising.
Third-Party Services
• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, and media storage. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage data to improve the app. No personal data is linked to analytics events.
• Workout videos and photos are stored on Google Cloud infrastructure and are only accessible to members of your pact.
Money Pot Challenges
• Pact31 does not process payments. Money pot amounts are tracked in-app only.
• Payment handles (Venmo, Apple Cash) are stored solely to display to challenge participants for settlement. We do not transmit these to any payment processor.
Data Retention & Deletion
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, submissions, and all associated data.
• You can change or reset your password at any time.
• Videos and photos you submit remain visible to group members until you delete your account.
• Monthly auto-reset: At the start of each month, group chat messages and the previous month's proof media (videos and photos) are automatically deleted from our servers. Streaks, completion history, challenge wins, and battle records are preserved.
• Inactive pact auto-deletion: Pacts with no check-ins or messages for 31 days receive an in-app warning. If no activity resumes within 7 additional days, the pact — including all videos, photos, submissions, and chat messages — is permanently deleted from our servers.
Children's Privacy
Pact31 is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
